On Thursday, September 8th, 2022, city and county leaders gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the long-awaited Hillcrest Senior Life Center in Clovis, NM.
The event was attended by County Commissioners, the Mayor of Clovis, local delegates, the architectural and construction teams, and numerous community members. Nearly 100 attendees joined to mark the official start of construction for this important community project.
The new facility will serve as a hub for senior programs and activities, providing a modern and welcoming environment designed to support health, wellness, and social connection.

“Funding for the new center, valued at $7.66 million—not including $660,000 for new kitchen equipment—was made possible by area voters approving ‘Bond A’ in the November 2020 election.”
