Desert Commons is an exciting new mixed-use development combining luxury apartments and a modern shopping center in East El Paso, located off N. Zaragoza Road.
The 225-unit apartment community will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences with upscale amenities including a resort-style pool, fitness center, game lounge, and golf simulator. The adjacent retail area will host multiple tenants such as Teapioca Lounge, La Terraza Mexican Restaurant, Coffee Box, and several other local and national brands.

EPX President Chris Malooly partnered with developer Jordan Furman to bring Desert Commons to life. Longtime friends since high school, the pair reconnected professionally with a shared vision to shape the growth of East El Paso through innovative, community-driven projects. Desert Commons provided the perfect opportunity for that collaboration.
